About
After teaching in public school for 8 years, owner and teacher, Mindy Diaz decided to start her own in-home preschool. As a parent herself, she was looking for quality preschool programs with a strong academic base along with social skill development and play-based learning. Realizing the need for such programs in the community, Mindy enrolled her 4-year-old son along with a few other amazing kids and opened Perfect Gifts Preschool's doors in August 2014.
Our Programs
The educational programs at Perfect Gifts Preschool were created with our children’s needs in mind: to mature and develop in a safe yet stimulating environment. Take a look below to learn more about each program.
Half-Day Preschool
Perfect Gifts offers 2 or 3 half-day classes per week for children ages 3-5 years old during the school year, the end of August- the end of May. We focus on hands-on, discovery learning covering a wide range of topics including literacy, math, science, social studies, Biblical lessons, music and movement. Lessons are theme-based with a focus on the Colorado State Standards for Early Childhood Development.
Classes for the 2021-2022 are scheduled as follows:
2 days/week MW- 8:45 AM- 11:45 AM or
TTH- 8:45 AM- 11:45 AM
3 days /week MWF or TTHF (8:45 AM- 11:45 AM)
Summer Camps
Our summer camps are the highlight of the year. Every week we offer a new theme for each 3-day camp where we become scientists and explore anything from dinosaurs and insects to planets and sea creatures. Imagination is key for camps such as fairy princesses, superheroes and magical wizard camp!
*Registration for Summer Camps opens in May.
Our Mission
The mission of Perfect Gifts is to provide preschool-aged students a foundation in early childhood skills through hands-on and discovery-learning activities. The goal is to foster a love for learning and help develop the character and spiritual-awareness of all students. Young children who go to Perfect Gifts Preschool get the tools and support they need for their healthy development. All activities are carefully designed to adequately nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of our kids.
